What is Professional Organizing?

Cube Organizer

It's not about perfection. It's about efficiency, reducing stress & clutter, saving time & money, and improving your overall quality of life. A Professional Organizer doesn't just rearrange your closet or living room, a PO will work with you one-on-one to determine the best plan of action based on your desired goals and your current state.

Who Hires a PO?

Most people who hire a PO have determined that being organized just isn't their forte. They want to be organized- maybe even tried to be- however, because it's not a skill that they possess, their efforts are minimal. There are many types of clients who would hire a PO, including (but not limited to):

  • A new/busy/working Mom

  • Corporate women/men

  • An overwhelmed family

  • Preparing for a move

  • New homeowners/ recently moved

  • Seniors in need of downsizing

  • The chronically disorganized

  • The situationally disorganized (usually after a major event takes place)

  • Hoarders (there are 5 levels)

Everyone has a different situation, a different story, and a different perspective. A PO will also serve as a counselor at times, especially during difficult downsizing or de-cluttering. Below is a list of services that (may or may not be) offered by PO's:

  • Tailored services for each room of the house:

  • Mudroom

  • Kitchen

  • Living Room

  • Toy Room

  • Bedrooms

  • Closets

  • Office

  • Laundry Room

  • Craft Room

  • Attic/Basement

  • De-cluttering/ purging

  • Downsizing

  • Spacial Planning

  • Storage solutions

  • Photo Organizing

  • Bills

  • Time Management

  • Home staging

  • Packing for a Move

  • eBay listing or other consignment services

  • Senior Move Management

If you're still unsure as to why YOU would hire a PO, consider this:

Would you rather spend your day purging your closet and reorganizing your basement storage OR would your time be better spent either spending time with your family, making money, or otherwise enhancing your life?

Determine what's most important to you, and the decision will be easy.
